Born from a desire to create something both sustainable and meaningful, HOMMAGE is a small company founded by Lynn Vezina. With a background in textile science specializing in screen printing, a career in the natural and organic products industry, and a deep passion for organic farming, Lynn seeks to honor the tradition of families coming together around a table adorned with a cherished tablecloth.

 

Based in Kingston, nestled in the beautiful Hudson Valley of New York State, HOMMAGE crafts classic aprons by hand from vintage American tablecloths dating back to the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. These aprons pay tribute to the farmers, textile workers, designers, and everyone who plays a role in bringing food to our tables. Embracing the character of wear and minor discolorations, each apron tells its own unique story. They are machine washable with like colors, dryer safe, and can be ironed on a steam setting for best results.
